Draughtsman

Purpose : You will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for all projects, including project co-ordination. 1. Design and Drafting: Create detailed site drawings and specifications for projects. Compiling & tracking as built & EMF documents. Conduct site visits as needed to gather information and ensure design feasibility. 2. Collaboration: Liaison with clients, technicians in warehouse and on-sites. Work closely with project managers to understand design requirements. Attend project meetings to provide input and updates on drawing progress. Support team members by sharing knowledge of tools and techniques Perform all general work as require inclusive of electrical and civils. 3. Documentation: Maintain and update project documentation. Ensuring all drawings are current and accurately reflect changes. Organize and file drawings, specifications, and project-related materials and equipment. All drawings are correct and accurately reflect changes. 4. Quality Control: Review and check drawings and documents for accuracy and compliance with standards. Ensure that all designs adhere to relevant regulations and industry standards. 5. Problem Solving: Identify design issues and propose solutions to enhance project efficiency. Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve design challenges. 6. Safety compliance: Adhere to all company health and safety protocols and regulations. Minimum 3 years of AutoCAD drafting experience (Qualifications would be advantageous). Attention to Detail and accuracy Ability to work collaboratively in a team. Good communication skills. Valid Drivers License. Experience in the electrical industry is highly advantageous.
