Junior Operations Manager - Pretoria East

Role Purpose: The Junior Operations Manager supports the day-to-day running of entertainment and retail operations, ensuring smooth coordination across venues, events, and store activities. This role combines operational oversight with personal assistant duties, making it ideal for a highly organized, proactive, and adaptable individual with a passion for the entertainment and retail sectors. Key Responsibilities: Operational Support Assist in coordinating the daily operations of venues, events, and retail outlets Monitor and report on stock levels, supplier orders, and logistics Support scheduling of staff rosters and ensure attendance tracking Maintain venue standards and escalate maintenance or operational issues Liaise with vendors, service providers, and partners to ensure timely delivery and execution Administrative & Personal Assistant Duties Manage diary and calendar for senior management Arrange travel, accommodation, and transport for team members and guests Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes as required Handle ad-hoc administrative duties including expense tracking, data entry, and document preparation Retail & Event Operations Assist in the setup and breakdown of in-store promotions, pop-ups, and activations Monitor customer experience and assist with issue resolution Help coordinate inventory and merchandising across locations Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational procedures Required Skills & Experience: 2 years in an administrative, operations, or PA role (experience in entertainment or retail preferred) Strong organizational and multitasking skills Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace Excellent written and verbal communication Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or evenings Nice-to-Have: Basic knowledge of event planning or logistics Experience with POS or inventory systems Interest in music, live entertainment, fashion, or retail trends Should you not receive a response within 10 working days, please consider your application unsuccessful.
