Job Description

Duties: Mixing and pouring drinks : involves preparing various cocktails and other beverages according to recipes and customer preferences. Taking orders: receiving orders from customers at the bar or at their tables (if applicable). Providing recommendations: offering suggestions based on customer preferences and knowing the bar's menu. Serving beverages: pouring and serving drinks to customers in a timely and efficient manner. Cleaning: maintaining a clean and tidy bar area, including washing glassware, wiping surfaces, and ensuring the bar is well-stocked. Inventory management: keeping track of stock levels, ordering supplies as needed, and potentially managing inventory. Payment processing: handling cash and card transactions and ensuring accurate billing and change. Following health and safety guidelines: ensuring the bar area is hygienic and adhering to safety regulations. Greeting customers: creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere. Providing excellent customer service: being attentive, friendly, and helpful to customers. Addressing complaints: listening to and resolving customer complaints in a professional manner. Age verification: checking customer IDs to ensure they are of legal drinking age. Requirements: Grade 12 Additional education, training, certificates will be an advantage Must have at least 2 5 years experience as a bar lady / bar tender Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Positive, engaging personality, and professional appearance. Basic math and computer skills. Experience using POS systems Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Strong task and time management abilities. Eye for detail and understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques.
