Spray Painter - Linbro Park

Our client is seeking to appoint a Spray Painter to join their warehouse team. This position is based in Linbro Park. Responsible for preparing parts, sanding and assemblies for painting. Mix paint and other materials according to specification or formula Removing dirt, dust or grease before spray painting. Making sure metal is completely smooth before commencing. Covers / masks areas that are not going to be spray painted. Apply sufficient coats of required colour ev enly. Allows paint to dry between coats Ensure facility and spray-painting equipment are in good working condition Responsible for the identification and separation of non-conforming parts or materials and report them to supervisors Utilize spray gun and apply paint in c onformance with all specifications Monitor machine gauges and equipment operation to discover defects/deviations from standards and make necessary adjustments. Utilize solvents, wire brushes, and cloths for cleaning sprayers and power equipment. Follow company requirements to select paint, and match colors of paint following specified color charts. Responsible for material and minor maintenance. Requirements: Matric (Grade 12) is essential Spray-painting certificate or qualification Knowledge and experience with at least 3 years experience Focus on details and quality of work on trailers Attention to detail Must be punctual Excellent communication skills Must reside around Linbro Park
