Driver – Richwood (Atlas Gardens)

Duties & Responsibilities: Safely transport products, materials and packages to and from destinations in a timely manner; Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied; Loading and offloading of products and materials as necessary; Providing accurate time records of the company vehicles comings and goings; Reporting any accidents, injuries and vehicle damage to management as they happen; Arrive at destinations on schedule and adjusting travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction; Fulfil administrative needs, like office pickups; Interact with clients professionally at all times; Ensure that the vehicle is always fuelled and ready for use; Arrange for vehicle repairs as needed; Providing excellent customer service; Ensuring The store is kept clean, neat and well-organized at all times; Packing incoming stock away and taking inventory as requested by management; Picking orders as requested by management; and Ensuring that correct stock is loaded for deliveries, and ensuring that no stock is to delivered without any paperwork. Authority: The Employee will be required to report directly to the Sales Manager and any Management and Directors of the Company. Skills: Valid South African Drivers Licence; Excellent level of English; Excellent written communicator (WhatsApp, phone calls; etc.); Strong time management and customer service skills; Attention to detail; Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws; Be eager to meet and exceed expectations; Ability to enforce and maintain high standards, even under pressure; Work well under pressure; Be organised; Be hard working, and Be deadline driven.
