Service Advisor/Workshop Administrator

Key Responsibilities: Answer incoming calls and respond to service enquiries Meet and greet customers at reception in a professional and friendly manner Book vehicles into the workshop, asking the right questions to accurately identify and capture customer concerns and service requirements Open and maintain job cards with clear, detailed and up-to-date information Coordinate service timelines with the Workshop Manager Keep customers informed on progress, expected completion times, and any changes Ensure completed work is accurately invoiced before customer collection Brief customers on work completed and hand over vehicles professionally Handle any customer concerns or queries in a calm, constructive and solution-oriented manner Assist in sourcing parts Requirements: Matric (Grade 12) MUST be a qualified mechanic or have a solid hands-on background working as a mechanic in the automotive field Experience in a similar service advisor or front-of-house role Excellent communication and customer service skills Friendly with a great smile and confident interpersonal skills Organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks Comfortable using computer systems and invoicing software Good understanding of motor vehicles; Land Rover knowledge is a strong advantage Must have a valid drivers licence Ideal Candidate Profile: Male or female with a passion for the motor industry Energetic and enthusiastic about customer interaction A Land Rover aficionado who ideally owns and drives one Bonus if the candidate can share personal off-road adventure stories involving their Land Rover Professional appearance and a customer-first attitude Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 17:00 Occasional Saturdays required Remuneration: Market-related, based on experience and qualifications MIBCO fund compulsory after 6 months
