Cash Office Supervisor

Purpose: To manage the daily operations within the cash office by supervising staff and coordination with clients. Qualifications: Matric or Grade12 - Essential Diploma in Business Management will be advantageous Minimum of 1 – 2 years’ experience in sales in a retail store, bulk cash handling and problem solving Experience in the Liquor or retail industry will be advantageous Leading & Supervising Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving A team player with high level of dedication Duties: Cash Office is ready for daily operations Staff days off schedule Lunch time schedule and if very busy make sure that all tills are manned. Ensure cashier drop cash on a regular basis during the day. Ensure the end of day taking is correct and must Balances To ensure that Cash Office and workstation is always kept clean Request order form/invoice Authorized Operates till if necessary. All various steps to cash up. Make payments for the bottle store to cash up as to see, that they balance Daily reconciliation of cash up. Customer Services Completing of all cash office documents Make credit notes for various reasons: Out of stock. Customers change mind. Wrong item sold. Expired stock Supervision: To supervise the staff working in the cash office and ensure proper housekeeping. To follow company standards and legal regulations to ensure safe and positive work practices. Organise change for the tills Management of cash office (e.g.: ensuring of stationary availability, order bags for money feeding machine) Arrange cash pickup with CIT company for public holidays. When safe is full arrange second daily pickup with CIT. Phone Cash connect for any repairs or service to the drop safe. Making sure that all money is banked on a daily base. No eating or drinking of coffee/tea in the cash office. Only water will be allowed at till point. Ensure that all staff is dressed in company uniform.
