Logistics Co-ordinator (expat, Tanzania)

Key Responsibilities: Tracking assigned shipments to ensure the successful delivery of logistics services Handling external logistics suppliers, warehouse operations, clearing agents and freight service providers to ensure the successful delivery of jobs on time and in specifications, to satisfy client requirements Ensuring that the clearance documentation provided by clients is proactively analyzed before the arrival of cargo and ensuring that shipping methods comply with rules, regulations and applicable laws Accurate and timely provision of information and resolution of queries, verifying and meeting established deadlines Following up on customs pre-clearances, load planning, cargo loading and transport allocation Making sure that empty containers are returned to the shipping line nominated depots Preparing accurate and timely reports as required and updating the companys ERP systems Working in accordance with all company policies, procedures and processes Travelling to physical client and supplier sites Inspecting deliveries for misplaced orders or damaged goods Minimum Qualifications and Work Experience: 2-3 years experience in a similar role Knowledge of port, shipping, CFS and border operations Solid knowledge in customs clearance processes in common markets for the eastern Africa region Good communication, interpersonal and IT skills How to Apply: If you meet the above requirements, please send your resume DIRECTLY
