At Walmart México y Centroamérica , we’re looking for a Domain Engineering Lead to drive the development and execution of technology solutions across key business domains. This is a high-impact leadership role that combines technical vision, strategic alignment, and operational excellence to deliver platforms and products that scale with the business. What will you do? Lead the development and implementation of local retail technology solutions that deliver measurable business value. Align closely with Engineering Directors, Product, UX, Data, and business stakeholders to ensure strategic and technical alignment. Build and maintain strong partnerships with global and international tech teams, product partners, and key vendors. Ensure engineering teams are focused on the right priorities, leveraging global platforms where appropriate and building local platforms when needed. Manage the domain engineering budget and ensure delivery within operating constraints. Drive innovation by integrating new technologies and ensuring solutions are scalable and aligned with Walmart’s platform strategy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance, usability, and customer satisfaction. Define and track KPIs such as delivery success rate, lead time, system performance improvements, and business impact. What are we looking for? Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field; MBA is a plus. 10 years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a strong focus on solution development and implementation. Proven experience in developing and executing strategic technology plans at scale. Strong understanding of IT governance, operations, and modern technology trends. Experience working with global teams and aligning local solutions with global platforms. Advanced proficiency in both Spanish and English. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage large, diverse engineering teams. Business acumen to translate domain priorities into actionable engineering plans.
