Job Description

The Educational Sales Lead Qualifier will be responsible for contacting schools and teachers by telephone & e-mail in order to promote WorldStrides services, qualify viable program leaders, gather information, and verify details regarding their travel plans. We generate business opportunities for our sales department. Our job is to prospect and qualify contacts in our database, to determine which ones are viable leads worth sending to our sales colleagues for follow up. We contact prospective teachers interested in organizing a trip with their students. We work with several different types of tours, so you will never run out of potential clients! We offer Domestic K12 educational tours for students traveling for history, science, local state, civil rights and national parks to destination in the US. Requirements: Make calls and leave messages for teachers nationwide and use talk tracks for live calls. Send follow-up emails. Work on special projects, including periodic competitive calls, calls to unassigned schools, specialty schools and other telemarketing efforts. Periodically research schools to help identify top prospects and maintain the database. Use templates to create and send flyers and update PowerPoint presentations. Goal Driven Resilient Proactive Organized Qualifications: Desired knowledge of sales and marketing principles and strategies Desired work experience in sales, marketing, promotions or telemarketing Proficiency in relevant computer applications including CRM. Desired knowledge of customer service/sales principles and practices Six months or more experience in sales/lead creation/lead qualifying with Telephone sales experience preferred Good data entry/keyboard skills Familiar with office rules/office environment High school diploma or GED required Advanced (85%) English level Work Perks: Fun & driven environment.
