Actuarial Analyst

Description This role focuses in provide support in generate of models based on statistical inform tion, financial evaluation of projects and risk assessments. This position will provide analytical support, including analysis, pricing, capitation, alternative payment methods, network and provider specific reporting. Key Responsibilities Responsible for compiling data from a wide variety of sources. Compile market data and projections related to Healthcare. Performing programming modifications to previously written routine reports. Statistical Analysis oriented to Healthcare Institutions. Statistical models and work with the data they have compiled to determine financial predictions, conduct cost-benefit analysis and develop risk projections based on a variety of factors. Prepare reports and projections for several project to mitigating risk and ensuring profitability based on the data collected. Risk assessments for consulting projects. Performing routine tasks related to maintenance of Departmental Data Warehouse and its documentation. Preparation of graphs, charts, diagrams and illustrative tools. Performs other duties as assigned. General Knowledge/Competencies Statistical and Actuarial Skills Fundamentals for valuation analysis Prior experience in data science, R or Python Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Processes analysis and best practices Requirements Education/Skills: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science or other quantitative discipline. Analytical and quantitative thinker. Excellent written and verbal skills required Experience: At least 5-year experience in risk modeling, statistical analysis or actuarial At least 5-year experience programming in python or R Previous experience in insurance preferably Please add your resume when apply.
