About The Position Job Title: Locum Urologist Profession: Physician Specialty: Urology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Varied Monday-Friday Hours per Shift: 8am - 5pm Experience: Minimum years of experience not specified License: Active state license preferred Certifications: Active BLS, Active DEA required Must-Have: - Board Certified in Urology or truly Board Eligible (0-5 years of residency completion) - Ability to perform robotic procedures - Clean malpractice history - Clean background - Acknowledgment of EMR training requirements Description: We are seeking a locum Urologist to provide coverage for specified dates. Candidates must be flexible and available for all dates listed in the job description. Coverage needs are Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm. Physicians will cover clinic duties and scheduled procedures. No call responsibilities are required. Candidates must be capable of performing robotic procedures. The setting includes inpatient, outpatient, emergency room, clinic, and trauma level coverage. The average number of procedures performed per day is 4-6. The average number of patients seen in the clinic per day is between 12 and 16. This position is to fill for an unexpected leave of absence. Candidates must disclose their years of experience with the electronic medical record system and when they last used it. They should also provide the last facility where they utilized the electronic medical record system. Candidates must be able to attend onsite training on their first day. Travel policy compliance is necessary for lodging and air travel.
