About The Position Job Title: Clinical Hematologist/Oncologist Job Specialty: Hematology Oncology Job Duration: Full-Time Shift: Day - 8x5 - 09AM Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Open to new graduates (board-certified within 2 years) License: Michigan license (or willing to obtain) Certifications: ACLS, BLS, Board Certified or Board Eligible, DEA (or willing to obtain) Must-Have: Fellowship-trained, clean malpractice preferred Job Description: - Perform full-spectrum hematology and oncology patient care, including new patient referrals, active treatment, and follow-up care. - Coordinate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a positive experience for patients, families, and staff. - Provider will work between two designated cancer centers. - Engage in a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary oncology service line with access to subspecialties such as Radiation Oncology, Neuro Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Gynecologic Oncology, and surgeries related to Breast, Thoracic, and Colorectal. - Serve an expansive cancer network in the region. - Utilize an extensive primary care referral network for robust patient support. - Work with a full complement of ancillary support staff and programs, including Advanced Practice Providers, Infusion services, Care Management, Social Work, Nurse Navigation, Nurse triage, Research and Clinical Trials, Laboratory and Pharmacy, Genetics and Financial Counseling. - Enhance outreach and patient engagement through program marketing. - Collaborate with a partnering team of specialists for coordinated patient care. - Affiliation with a major university for access to cutting-edge research and resources.
