About The Position Job Title: Total Joint Orthopaedic Surgeon Job Specialty: Surgery - Orthopedic Joint Surgery Job Duration: Permanent Shift: Day - 3x12 hours, 7am - 7pm Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: 2 years in total joint arthroplasty (preferred), not including training License: Active MI license (or in the process of obtaining) highly preferred Certifications: Certification from American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS), Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery within 0-5 years of fellowship Must-Have: Fellowship-trained in Adult Reconstruction Job Description: - Seeking a highly motivated Total Joint Orthopaedic Surgeon to join a team of specialized professionals. - You will provide specialized orthopedic care focused on primary and revision joint reconstruction and replacement. - Work involves managing joint infections and a wide range of orthopedic joint surgeries, including Total Hip Arthroplasty, Total Knee Arthroplasty, and Revision Joint Surgery. - Provide comprehensive pre-and post-operative care to patients. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care and contribute to advancements in orthopedic surgery. - Call responsibility involves about 4 calls per month. - Access to advanced technology including the Stryker MAKO robot. - Must possess strong clinical skills, judgment, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Stay up-to-date on the latest advances in total joint arthroplasty. - Work in an environment with highly trained orthopedic surgeons, an orthopedic trauma team, and state-of-the-art technology. - Opportunity to partner with rehabilitation services offering inpatient and outpatient therapies. - Utilize EPIC EMR for patient documentation and management. - Open to H-1B visa candidates, not accepting Locum candidates.
