Physician / Psychiatry / New York / Locum or Permanent / Psychiatry ECT Specialist Job

Westchester County Hospital is seeking a Hospital Employed ECT Psychiatry Specialist. Treat 3 patients a week. Part time role with competitive salary - $175,000 for a 20 hour work week and preferably at least 1 year of ECT experience. Job Function: This role will replace a retiring psychiatrist that should be retiring before end of 2024. Perform 3 procedures a week or 1 each day. Takes about 4-5 hours per patient/procedure 3 Days a week- typically 8a-1p Required call for own patients but very rarely called - 3-4 times total a year Realistically a 20 hour work week. Patient volume can expand Need to have at least 1 year of experience in ECT (part of general psych training) Will have built in referrals from hospital and referring psychiatrists Perform procedures at hospital ambulatory surgery center -anesthesiologist on site to assist
