Management Accountant

Management Accountant Location – Trafford Park, Manchester Salary – based on experience About the company: A well-established import/retail SME based in Trafford Park, Manchester. You’ll be working in a broad role, supporting management accounting, decision-making and commercial understanding within the business, alongside other finance responsibilities. The person in this role also has the opportunity to grow within the business. Responsibilities include: Monthly management accounts &PL reporting Balance sheet reconciliations General ledger management Various kinds of analysis, particularly around cost, stock, and margin VAT Returns Leveraging CRM system to support financial and commercial analysis Identifying and actioning areas of business improvement Any other ad hoc tasks Skills/Qualifications required: Previous experience assisting with or preparing management accounts, either gained within industry or practice Self-starter, keen to progress Excellent communication skills Good time-management and organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task Strong Excel skills Previous experience in a similar industry a bonus, but not required We typically advertise our roles on LinkedIn for no more than 24-72 hours, but that doesn’t always mean the vacancy is filled.
