SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER

Savaré, a worldwide technology leader in Adhesive Specialty Chemicals, is expanding its footprint and looking for a: Supply Chain Manager with a passion for technology innovation and successful project execution to oversee strategic supply chain planning and execution across its operations in Europe, USA, and Korea/Japan. Job Responsibilities: Act as a key liaison with customers and internal teams, ensuring alignment between operational capabilities and customer expectations. Conduct on-site visits to assess and improve service levels. Liaise with commercial teams to ensure alignment with sales plans. Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop and implement a robust production planning process. Coordinate capacity planning and material availability, proactively managing constraints and adjustments. Support production teams in optimizing daily schedules to improve efficiency and ensure accurate promise-to-customer dates. Material Planning & Inventory Management: Execute and analyze MRP leveraging the Bill of Materials (BoM) provided by R&D teams, minimizing financial impact during product transitions. Oversee inventory targets, balancing cost, service levels, and operational efficiency. Logistics & Supply Chain Optimization: Drive best-in-class inbound and outbound logistics performance, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Partner with operations, procurement, and commercial teams to optimize supply chain design and execution. Performance Monitoring & KPIs: Develop and maintain supply chain performance dashboards, tracking KPIs on forecast accuracy, delivery performance, and inventory levels. Lead data-driven decision-making processes, presenting insights to operations and commercial teams. ERP & Digital Transformation: Support the enhancement and adoption of the existing ERP system, ensuring seamless integration with supply chain operations. Maintain and review supply chain parameters in the ERP system. Manage direct and indirect reports in logistics, customer service, and planning, reporting to the Operations Director. Key Qualifications and Skills: Education: Master’s degree in Management or Chemical Engineering. Experience: 5 years in manufacturing, ideally in the chemical industry, with increasing responsibilities. Technical Skills: Knowledge of supply chain planning, inventory control, logistics, warehouse management, ERP systems, and lean principles. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, data-driven decision-making, cross-functional collaboration, servant leadership, proactive, and passionate about operational excellence. Languages: High proficiency in English; good command of Italian. Travel: Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
