Job Description The Head of Brand & Marketing is responsible for setting and executing a comprehensive brand and marketing strategy that enhances customer engagement, builds brand loyalty, and drives business growth. This role leads a team encompassing Brand, Marketing, Sponsorship, Event & Partnership, integrating full-funnel marketing—from acquiring new customers to cross-selling and up-selling existing ones—and uses data-driven insights to create compelling campaigns and life-stage-focused programs. The position involves mapping and optimizing the entire customer journey, including onboarding, daily banking, lending, and mortgages, ensuring every brand interaction provides a meaningful and differentiated experience. Key Responsibilities Brand & Marketing Strategy & Effectiveness Develop a unified brand and marketing vision aligned with core business lines Champion data-driven brand building Full-Funnel Marketing Execution Implement end-to-end lifecycle campaigns, including product-agnostic and behavioral marketing Brand & Consumer Insights Provide strategic guidance to shape local brand direction, ensuring consistency across touchpoints Utilize market research, competitor analysis, and consumer data to inform brand architecture and marketing strategies Innovation & Experience Marketing Explore new channels and experiences, including in-person events Agency & Vendor Management Oversee vendors and agencies, focusing on creative agency excellence Leadership & Collaboration Coach and develop direct reports Foster cross-functional collaboration Governance & Compliance Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and maintain documentation Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field; Master’s Degree or MBA preferred Skills & Experience Proven expertise in brand management, full-funnel marketing, event & sponsorship activation, and marketing technology Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting customer insights and optimizing strategies Leadership experience in managing teams and stakeholders Work Experience Over 10 years in senior marketing roles with a focus on brand management, integrated campaigns, sponsorships, and events Experience developing customer journeys across segments such as retail banking and mortgages Additional Information Work condition: Full-time, Permanent, Milan (hybrid) About ING ING offers a diverse and rewarding career environment, emphasizing innovation, flexibility, and personal growth.
