Job Description
Position: Supply Chain & Operations Manager Our client is an Italian company with an international scope, active in B2B/B2C professional services, consulting, and technology. Operating across multiple business areas and channels, they offer a diversified portfolio of products, targeting various markets, sectors, and professional communities. Role Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing procurement, quality, logistics, and general services processes. They will serve as a key point of contact for streamlining workflows, standardizing procedures through operational checklists, and liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure continuity and performance. Main Responsibilities: Selection, qualification, and continuous monitoring of suppliers; Managing contractual negotiations, cost strategies, and savings initiatives; Implementing structured purchasing policies and procedures; Managing online procurement and digital tools; Monitoring budget and addressing supplier non-conformities. Quality Management: Defining and updating quality control processes aligned with standards and client expectations; Supervising internal procedures and periodic inspections; Managing technical documentation, statistical analysis, and quality reporting; Coordinating quality consultants, ensuring ongoing training and development; Handling customer feedback and developing continuous improvement plans. Logistics: Strategic and operational planning of logistics, transportation, and warehouse management; Monitoring logistics efficiency metrics such as stock levels, costs, and punctuality; Managing logistics personnel and defining operational procedures; Resolving logistical anomalies and ensuring KPI compliance. Requirements: Degree in Engineering, Management, or similar fields; At least 5 years of experience in medium-sized companies with a structured and international approach; Strong focus on processes, standardization, and use of operational checklists; Excellent problem-solving, team management, and stakeholder communication skills; Ability to work independently with an end-to-end view of the supply chain; Knowledge of Lean / Continuous Improvement methodologies; Fluent in spoken and written English; Proficiency with ERP systems and digital operational tools.
