Job Description

Serves as the 509th Signal Battalion / Regional Network Enterprise Center South Miscellaneous Administration and Programs expert, specializing in a broad range of Knowledge Management duties. Responsible for content management for knowledge-based systems supporting the Regional Network Enterprise Center (RNEC) South. Promotes knowledge sharing through the organization’s operational business processes and systems by strengthening links between knowledge sharing and the information system. Responsible for tracking metrics, trends, and analysis of activities surrounding the input, processing, and output of data from various computer programs or systems. Represents RNEC leadership at meetings and working groups and implements knowledge sharing initiatives. Assists leadership in guiding the organization, fostering cultural change, and providing recommendations to institutionalize Knowledge Management. Requirements Conditions of Employment A three-year trial/probationary period may be required. Must obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance. Must obtain and maintain a U.S. driver's license and military driver's license. Must obtain a U.S. official passport. Up to 10% TDY travel may be required. Qualifications Who May Apply This position is in the Professional Work Category at the Full Performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one year of specialized experience demonstrating knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for success in the position. This experience should be in or directly related to managing digital and paper publications, training personnel on agency practices, and supporting knowledge management policies and initiatives. Education Substituting education for experience is not permitted for this position; experience alone is required. Additional Information Current federal employees will be placed on an excepted appointment. Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification for Selective Service Registration. Proof of U.S. Citizenship is required. Direct Deposit of Pay is mandatory. Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance is required.
