Job Description

Plans, schedules, and monitors the movement of materials through the production cycle. Determines material requirements from engineering and production schedules. Coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production, and engineering. Develops specifications for new contract orders. Responsible for procurement business system data input and integrity; creates and maintains bills of material and parts/commodities numbers in supply chain management or other enterprisewide systems. Duties & Responsibilities : Quality and Certifications Leader Organize the solution records of the companies by products/delivery/Customer Coordinate and manage the delivery of all certifications including: Certifications of the products, according to specific project needs or sector needs (Railway): coordinate activities and necessary documentation, involving the necessary actors (e.g., TUV, Rina, consultants, specialists) Conduct Technical / Design Reviews to validate the Project (or Product) prior to purchase and ensure approval from the Customer Manage Product Risk Analysis and design reviews, tracking information according to internal or customer-specific quality procedures Prepare and organize proper documentation per project or product needs (working with PLM, R&D team, and PM) Keep ISO procedures and processes updated in accordance with Viavi and BU needs (current standards include ISO 9001, 14001, 27001; the BU may adopt similar standards) Supply Chain Leader Prepare RFPs (Request For Purchase) to meet project and inventory needs Check vendor and supplier timelines to ensure delivery Monitor logistics and company inventory levels Coordinate internal and external resources to fulfill project requirements Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure operations (shipping, delivery) meet quality and safety standards Prepare delivery documentation Track deliveries and monitor supplier performance, including RMA processes Identify and qualify new suppliers in collaboration with other departments Suggest process improvements, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions Coordinate product maintenance activities, including new product releases or corrective actions, based on customer requests, quality KPIs, or technical support analysis. Upside Establish performance metrics to evaluate factors affecting the supply chain Maintain adequate inventory levels to optimize production Report to : Customer Care and Deployment Manager Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements : J-18808-Ljbffr
