Role: Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager Exp: 8-15 years Job Role: ME – Fixture Engineering / Process Engineering Job Description: Planning and Scheduling : Develop and maintain detailed plans for the usage and availability of fixtures, and equipment. Coordinate with production and engineering teams to ensure fixtures are available for production. Schedule the calibration and maintenance of fixtures to prevent downtime. Tool and Fixture Selection: Work with engineering teams to improve fixtures performance based on production requirements. Identify and evaluate new fixtures to improve efficiency or quality. Ensure that the fixtures meet safety and quality standards. Spare Management: Track and manage the inventory of fixtures, and spare parts. Monitor tool wear and tear and ensure timely replacement or repair. Keep detailed records of fixture usage, maintenance, and costs. Tooling and Fixture Design: Involve in the design or modification of fixtures to meet specific production requirements. Collaborate with vendors, engineers and designers to optimize fixture layouts. Process Improvement: Continuously assess tool and fixture performance to identify areas for improvement in production processes. Recommend and implement changes that improve production efficiency, reduce costs, or enhance product quality. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of fixture performance, maintenance schedules, and inventory levels.
