Travel Nurse RN - PCU - $2,089 per week in Roanoke, VA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Active license required Certifications: COVID-19 Vaccine required - Medical/Religious Exemptions only Must-Have: Epic experience required Description: This is a hospitalist unit focused on general medicine. Currently, there are 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratios for the Progressive Care Unit. The goal is to achieve a 1:4 ratio. All staff members are expected to float as needed to other units. Travelers are required to work at least one holiday during each 13-week assignment. During winter holidays, staff must work two holidays. Compliance documents are due the Wednesday prior to the start date. Travelers residing within specific distances are eligible for one assignment only. No extensions are permitted for these assignments. Modules are required and non-billable if completed within the first 24 hours. The facility allows 5 hours for orientation modules and 2 hours for Epic training. Modules can be completed pre-start or during orientation. Orientation hours will vary based on specialty. Submission of all necessary documents must be done upfront. Previous employees must be gone for a minimum of one year before returning to work. The separation policy will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
