Travel Nurse RN - Cath Lab - $2,506 per week in Stockbridge, GA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 6 Months Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years; first timers accepted License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Solid experience in the Cath Lab with knowledge of adult and geriatric patient populations Description: Minimum experience required is 2 years. Candidates without prior experience in this specialty will be considered. Patient population includes adults to geriatrics. Patient diagnoses include but are not limited to NSTEMI, abnormal EKG, abnormal stress tests, Type 1 MI, shortness of breath, cardiogenic shock, CAD, PVD, ESRD, and DKI. Special equipment utilized includes Impella, IABP, EKOS, Penumbra, Inari, CSI, Shockwave, temporary pacers, FFR, IVUS, Medrad (Power Injector), and Swan Ganz catheter. Work will be in a 3-room setting with a patient census of 20 to 25 patients per day. Familiarity with unit systems is essential, including Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR. Scrub color will be provided by the facility. Availability for assigned weekends is required. Floating between various sectors of the Cath Lab is expected. Call requirements include 9 to 10 shifts per month. If major holidays occur during the assignment period, availability to work these holidays is required. Compliance with requirements is necessary to start on time. A clinical screen will be conducted to determine fit. References from two supervisory professionals are preferred at the time of submission. Availability to submit all core items and complete required labs within 48 hours of signing the contract is essential. Return travelers should complete one successful assignment outside prior facilities before rebooking.
