JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active Texas State Medical License Certifications: ACLS (AHA approved) ATLS (AHA approved) PALS (AHA approved) NRP (AHA approved) Experience: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or Family Medicine (ABFM) or Internal Medicine (ABIM) with 2 years ER experience Residency trained in specialty Additional Requirements: CDS & DEA with Texas address CME from the past 2 years Case logs from the past 2 years Copies of all education and training diplomas Social Security Card, Driver's License, and color photo emailed to MSO Annual requirements: 9 hours of Stroke CME and 9 hours of Trauma CME DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients in the ER setting. Perform necessary diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within the scope of Emergency Medicine. Collaborate with specialty backups and support staff as needed. Maintain compliance with all hospital and departmental policies.
