As our West Coast customer base rapidly expands, we’re looking for a remote-based Sales Account Manager to develop client relationships and grow revenue across California, Washington, Alaska, and Hawaii. Who We’re Looking For You're a seasoned sales professional with deep knowledge of industrial products—electric motors, pumps, compressors, or related heavy equipment. You understand the pace and priorities of chemical plants, paper mills, and refineries, and know how to build trust with engineers, maintenance teams, and plant managers. Whether you're an experienced account manager or an engineer with a knack for client service, you're confident working independently and developing long-term partnerships. What You’ll Do Travel throughout the West Coast region to meet with existing clients and grow strategic relationships Conduct in-person visits at plants, refineries, and industrial facilities to provide product knowledge and technical insight Promote NEMSCO’s full range of proprietary electric motors and related solutions Generate referrals and develop new business through industry contacts and on-site networking Provide post-sale support and ensure customers are aware of ongoing service offerings and product updates Represent NEMSCO at customer lunches, site walk-throughs, and technical presentations What You Bring 5 years of experience in industrial B2B sales or working with end users in oil & gas, manufacturing, or utilities Strong mechanical aptitude or background in electrical/mechanical/industrial engineering Previous experience selling electric motors, compressors, pumps, or similar technical products Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Ability to travel regularly across California, the Pacific Northwest, and occasionally to Alaska and Hawaii Self-motivated and organized—you're comfortable working remotely without daily supervision Bonus Points For Experience working for or selling to Chevron, ExxonMobil, Phillips 66, Motiva, or Marathon Oil Existing contacts at paper mills, refineries, or similar industrial end-users Experience at a competitor (e.g., Dykman Electric, Houston Armature, Rogers Equipment, East Coast Electric) Company Description National Electric Motor & Supply Co.
