The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in residential and commercial electrical work, a solid understanding of electrical codes, and a commitment to providing excellent service. Key Responsibilities: - Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment - Read blueprints and technical diagrams to install and troubleshoot electrical systems - Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations - Perform routine inspections and assessments of electrical systems - Collaborate with other tradespeople and provide excellent customer service - Stay updated on industry trends and advancements - Must be willing to stay out of town occasionally - Must be willing to work in dirty environments as we remodel homes - Must be willing to travel to job sites and have reliable transportation - Must be reliable and on time at job sites - Must be willing to work in Knoxville and surrounding areas Qualifications: - Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuit design - Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Physical ability to perform electrical installations and repairs What We Offer: - $16 - $25 per hour based on experience - Opportunities for professional development and training - A supportive and respectful work environment - Tools provided SJZ Electric, LLC is an equal-opportunity employer.
