Job Description
Answer logistics-related questions from sales colleagues and customers to ensure a smooth delivery process. Process and arrange bookings with customers and schedule deliveries to arrive on time. Follow up on inquiries and track records until the case has been resolved. Take necessary steps to provide accurate and up-to-date information about shipment status by checking sources such as carrier web tracking, load planning files, Excel reports, or direct contact with the forwarder. Maintain reports with shipment-related data such as ETAs, ATAs, and non-conformities based on predefined reason codes. Ensure the report is populated with the most recent data to enable proper KPI-based performance measurement. Identify return inquiries and process them until goods are received back at the warehouse and the customer has received their credit. Process claims against third-party logistics providers using the SAP Claim Handling System and follow up on the created accounts receivables.
