Software Support Specialist Apply at: Milan | Full time | Posted 2 days ago | Job ID: JR103415 The Software Support Specialist promotes and sells the Service Product Portfolio to existing customers. Responsibilities include consulting customers on operation efficiency and material flow optimization related to Kardex software, supporting software service product sales in collaboration with the New Business software sales team, and developing and maintaining an annual sales and marketing plan for software services. As a brand ambassador, you will embody Kardex Remstar Core Values in interactions with customers and colleagues, representing the Life Cycle Service department at customer sites nationwide. Responsibilities include: Selling modifications of service contracts Selling technical upgrades Projecting a professional company image via phone and customer visits Preparing quotations for upgrades, parts-kits, and moves (per Project Manager info) Following the sales process, including CRM recontact Providing weekly activity reports Visiting customers to present service products, contracts, and upgrade solutions Organizing lessons-learned meetings and reporting insights to inform product development and enhance customer satisfaction Identifying and clarifying commercial risks, including T&C negotiations with customers and coordination within the project team Your profile Training / Education: Technical bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Business school degree or similar experience Certifications such as SPIN Selling, Miller Heiman PSS, Trusted Advisor Level 3 Strong technical knowledge in EDP / IT Knowledge of intralogistics / logistics (processes, order picking, conveyor tech, robotics) is advantageous Experience creating functional descriptions of logistics solutions Proficiency with Kardex business tools (MS Office, SAP, Salesforce CRM) Knowledge of intralogistics Professional Experience: At least 5 years in customer service, technical departments, and sales Basic marketing skills for industrial B2B goods Confidence in handling customer inquiries and sales offers Ability to analyze business and intralogistics processes Note: This job posting is active.
