Recurrent Energy appcast.io Department : QHSE Reporting to : Sr. Manager Global Health & Safety Operations Responsibilities Act as delegato della sicurezza on behalf of the employer ( datore di lavoro ) for O&M business unit entities. Ensure adherence to all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules, and regulations, and ensure they are regularly reviewed, updated, and communicated. Document, investigate, and implement improvements for all accidents. Conduct safety inspections, manage fire drills, alarms, risk assessments, and lone working procedures, and ensure employee awareness of responsibilities. Support investigations into critical H&S issues and drive solutions. Engage engineering and procurement in supplier evaluation. Develop and maintain project and supplier H&S plans. Conduct risk assessments and job hazard assessments supporting site activities. Ensure personnel are trained and aware of H&S requirements. Prepare statistical data to identify H&S trends. Review and audit contractor H&S programs for compliance. Assist project teams with technical responses to customers/subcontractors on H&S issues. Monitor and improve Customer/Owner Satisfaction related to H&S. Support the development of a robust H&S program for O&M of solar and battery storage plants. Document and manage processes through the Document Control system. Administer NCR reporting, ensuring prompt investigation and corrective actions. Support Lessons Learned initiatives. Lead investigations and drive corrective actions on H&S issues with project teams. Interpret engineering drawings and standards related to H&S. Manage internal audit programs, provide training, and coach audit teams. Work Experience: 3-5 years of OHS experience in construction, industrial processing, or environmental remediation. College diploma or university degree in OHS or related field. Training in Environmental, Health & Safety per current legislation. Knowledge of lithium-ion batteries, high voltage electrical equipment, and related safety preferred. Certifications such as CSP or CMIOSH are assets. Experience with work platforms and management systems. Practical knowledge of topics like hoisting, rigging, ground disturbance, fall protection, excavation, heavy equipment, emergency response, electrical safety, confined spaces. Understanding of local, national, and European OHS legislation and standards. Strong communication skills, ability to interpret business needs. Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma is an asset. Professional demeanor, detail-oriented, dependable. Proficient in Microsoft Office and cloud-based software.
