Job Opportunity: Line Customer Specialist A company operating in the logistics sector is seeking a Line Customer Specialist to join their team. The role involves interacting with shipping companies and managing client relationships. Responsibilities include: Training on company software programs. Populating and managing data in the system. Maintaining relationships with clients, shipping companies, carriers, and terminals. Supporting IT in configuring messaging systems with terminals and warehouses. Managing import and export shipments via land and sea, domestically and internationally. Communicating directly with end clients, transporters, shipping lines, IATA agents, international agents, and customs operators. Issuing shipping documentation. Requirements: In-depth knowledge of line activities. Experience with shipping companies or freight forwarders, particularly in import/export documentation and booking. Excellent command of the English language. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. The contract is initially fixed-term with prospects for permanent employment. The workplace is located in Sampierdarena.
