NPI Senior Supply Chain Specialist

We offer an excellent opportunity to join our International Supply Chain team, based in Bussolengo (Verona), as NPI Senior Supply Chain Specialist, reporting to the Procurement & NPI Manager. This role is ideal for a dynamic and analytical professional with strong execution and coordination skills to support New Product Introductions (NPI). You will play a pivotal role in ensuring product availability by aligning demand and supply plans and collaborating with key cross-functional teams. You will drive supplier selection, product development planning, and early-stage production to commercial launch readiness. You will work closely with Project Management, Product Marketing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, and Distribution to ensure efficient and scalable product launches. What will your contribution be? • Initiate supplier selection and onboarding to build a capable and reliable supply base. • Conduct supplier negotiations to achieve optimal cost and quality outcomes. • Lead supplier capacity reviews and manage regular meetings on-site and remotely. • Issue RFQs/RFPs and release purchase orders aligned with launch schedules. • Oversee product development and NPI planning to ensure readiness for market introduction. • Align Sales Forecast, Build Plan, and Distribution plans for New Product Launches. • Coordinate across multifunctional teams to manage capacity constraints and delivery schedules. • Present NPI progress, availability status, and supply chain KPIs. • Develop and maintain SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) data and visual reports. • Implement effective inventory strategies using buffer stock, safety stock, and control limits. • Analyze BOM structures, manufacturing capacity, and supply chain risks. • Improve demand forecasting processes and drive cross-functional alignment. • Ensure SOX compliance across all relevant processes. • Create and manage transfer plans from NPI to sustaining operations teams. What are we looking for? • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field. • 3–5 years of experience in supply chain roles, preferably in multinational or regulated industries. • Fluent English, written and spoken. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. • Organizational capability and ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects.
