As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring that pets look and feel their best while providing excellent customer service to pet owners. This role requires a blend of grooming expertise, animal handling skills. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling pets according to breed standards and client preferences. Handle and restrain dogs safely during grooming procedures to ensure their comfort and safety. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and in good working condition. Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pets’ needs, grooming options, and aftercare. Identify any health or behavioral issues in pets during grooming sessions and communicate findings to pet owners or veterinary staff as necessary. Qualifications Proven experience in pet grooming Strong skills in dog handling and knowledge of various dog breeds, temperaments, and grooming requirements. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with pet owners. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in all grooming tasks. A passion for animals and commitment to their well-being is essential. Certification in pet grooming or related training is advantageous but not mandatory.
