Job Description Job Description Physical Therapist needed for a full-time temp-to-hire opportunity with Yoh’s well-known occupational health client located in Torrance, CA. Monday-Friday 7:30 am-4:00 pm Top Skills You Should Possess: Must be licensed to practice in the state of California Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an APTA-accredited program BLS (CPR/AED) certification required; ACLS preferred. Solid understanding of occupational medicine, functional capacity evaluations, and ergonomic assessments Bilingual in Spanish is a plus What You’ll Be Doing: Evaluate and treat patients with functional impairments due to workplace injuries, post-surgical recovery, and other disabling conditions. Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical evaluations and patient history. Administer and supervise therapies including exercises, modalities, gait training, hydrotherapy, ergonomic assessments, and functional capacity evaluations. Educate patients on home exercise programs and proper use of supports and equipment. Maintain accurate, timely documentation in patient records and follow all reporting and billing protocols. Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and applicable regulations to deliver safe, high-quality care. Communicate effectively with patients, providers, employers, and internal staff. Collaborate closely with physicians to ensure coordinated, comprehensive treatment. Support clinic operations through training programs, staff development, and requisitioning supplies. Deliver exceptional customer service with empathy and professionalism.
