This contract role is ideal for someone with a passion for healthcare operations, supply chain optimization, and cross-functional collaboration. About the Role: The OR-Anesthesia Materials Supply Chain Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of surgical and anesthesia supply management—from procurement and inventory control to compliance and process improvement. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless delivery of surgical services by managing stock and specialty resources, coordinating with supply chain teams, and driving LEAN-based efficiencies. Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise materials support operations for the OR and Anesthesia departments. Coordinate purchasing and inventory of general and specialty surgical supplies and instrumentation. Collaborate with Supply Chain, Sterile Processing, and department leaders to align with organizational goals. Manage loaner equipment logistics in partnership with Biomed, SPD, and clinical coordinators. Participate in value analysis for supply and capital equipment decisions. Support strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives across perioperative services. Qualifications: Proven experience in surgical services, materials management, or healthcare supply chain. Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and quality assurance in a clinical setting. Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage cross-departmental projects. Familiarity with LEAN principles and value analysis processes is a plus.
