Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg - $2,039 per week in Columbus, OH

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night and Day options available Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical or higher required License: Must have a valid compact or state license at the time of submission Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Epic experience is required Description: The position requires a minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical level experience or higher. Oncology experience is preferred but not required. Floating to various Medical-Surgical units is expected. The role emphasizes infection prevention protocols and patient fall prevention. Staffing ratios aim for 1:4, but may be adjusted to 1:5 based on unit needs. Weekend availability is variable depending on unit requirements. The scheduling process will allow for self-scheduling requests. Orientation consists of a full week of day shifts. There will be five shifts of bedside orientation between the second and third weeks, followed by independent practice. All candidates must be ready for urgent fingerprinting processes. Professional references are required, including one from a manager or supervisor.
