TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PICU RN in Omaha, Nebraska, 68105! Pay Information $3,208 per week About The Position Job Title: Pediatric ICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Pediatric Stepdown Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of PICU experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center required License: Active registered nurse license required Certifications: BLS, PALS required; ACLS preferred Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of PICU experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center - Epic charting experience required - First-time travelers not accepted unless they have 3 years of experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center in PICU - Must be more than 100 miles from the facility - Nicotine-free Description: Pediatric ICU RN is needed for a mixed-acuity unit. Ratios are 1:2 for PICU, 1:3 for PCU, and 1:4 for Acute. PICU RNs are expected to work across the acuity spectrum. This unit has a total of 24 beds. Call requirements may apply for regularly scheduled shifts. Weekend shifts are required; 3 shifts per 4-week schedule period. If applicable during the summer holidays, one holiday shift must be worked. May be required to float to adult care areas, but only to perform tasks and rover duties. Tasks may include simple duties such as bathing, assisting with turns, and assisting with vital signs. RNs will not take an assignment on an adult unit. A task nurse will perform to the degree they are comfortable. A COVID-19 vaccine is required, with exemptions for medical or religious reasons.
