Job Description Job Description Palliative Medicine Locums Physician - Ohio - Weekday Coverage with Light Call This inpatient Palliative Care assignment in Ohio needs consistent weekday support with shared call. Local and IMLC physicians welcome. Highlights Weekly blocks available August through November Shared 1:3 call, including weekends Start date in August - credentialing in just 45 days Open to IMLC candidates and new licensees Consistent patient volume with team support Practice Setting Inpatient consult service Adult patients only Located in Canton, Ohio Schedule Monday-Friday days 1:3 call rotation Weekly blocks available mid-August through fall Full-time or recurring weeks preferred Cases and Procedures Hospice and Palliative Care consults only Daily census of 28-30 shared with 3 APPs and 1 MD Average 6-8 consults/day and 2-3 screens Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years) in Hospice and Palliative Medicine Ohio license or IMLC eligible DEA required Travel Accommodations Local or regional physicians preferred Travel/lodging not included If you're open to a consistent inpatient role with strong APP support, let's connect and review dates still open.
