Area Sales Manager (Lazio)

As part of our continued growth and expansion of our European operations, we are hiring an Area Sales Managers for the Lazio Region to join our Companion Animal Group (CAG) division in Italy, covering the following locations: As Area Sales Manager , you will drive sales growth through your sales team. With your exceptional leadership skills and business instinct, you will inspire your team and customers. At IDEXX, we are passionate about animal health. Responsibilities include: Managing sales activities within your assigned territory. Leading and evaluating your team, including assigning work and monitoring performance. Coaching and developing team members. Organizing work to ensure customer satisfaction. Implementing strategies to enhance customer experience. Coordinating with other departments to resolve issues and improve processes. Using data and tools to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction. Identifying obstacles and opportunities, and acting proactively. Preparing reports and analyses for management. Supporting regional budget development, trade policies, and procedures. Your goal is to develop your territory by acquiring new customers, increasing customer satisfaction, and boosting sales through team development. Requirements: At least 5 years of leadership and team management experience. Experience in sales, preferably in veterinary diagnostics or health-related fields. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline; an MBA is a plus. Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage field sales activities. Excellent communication skills in English; fluency in Italian is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience is advantageous. Willingness to travel frequently by car, including weekends. Strong customer service and relationship-building skills. Good problem-solving and analytical skills. Why IDEXX?
