Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Pharmacist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 07/14/2025 Duration: 26 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Description: We are actively seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a 7 on / 7 off night shift assignment in Whittier, CA. The pharmacist will work in a fast-paced acute care setting, handling medication preparation, verification, and distribution, while ensuring patient safety and compliance with hospital protocols. Schedule Details: Night Shift: 4x10s (8:00 PM – 6:30 AM) Schedule Pattern: 7 on / 7 off (Thursday start) Works 3 days in week one and 4 days in week two (Sunday–Saturday workweek) Must be available to work weekends and holidays if they fall during the 7 days on Requirements: Minimum 5 years of inpatient hospital experience California Pharmacist License – active & in good standing Experience with Allscripts charting system required Strong knowledge of hospital formulary and IV preparation Certifications: PharmD BLS (Basic Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Minimum 5 years of inpatient hospital experience and Allscripts charting system required About Prime Staffing At Prime Staffing, we understand the importance of finding the perfect fit for both our clients and candidates.
