Job Description Job Description American International Industries (A.I.I.) is seeking a Chemist eager to learn, innovate, and grow in the exciting world of beauty and personal care! In this hands-on role, you'll work closely with our R&D team to develop and refine high-quality personal care formulations, ensuring compliance with industry standards. You'll contribute to product development, testing, documentation and more. Key Responsibilities Assist in the formulation and development of cosmetic products, including skincare, haircare, and personal care items. Conduct stability and compatibility testing on new and existing formulations. Maintain and update formulation records, batch sheets, and raw material specifications. Support raw material research, sourcing, and evaluation to enhance product innovation. Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all lab work and test results. Work with cross-functional teams, including marketing and regulatory, to support product launches. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or a related field. 0-2 years of experience in cosmetic formulation or R&D. Basic knowledge of raw materials, emulsions, surfactants, and active ingredients in cosmetics. Experience with stability testing, product evaluations, and quality control is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
