Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating nuclear imaging equipment such as gamma cameras and PET/CT scanners, and capable of ensuring patient safety, radiation compliance, and accurate image acquisition. Key Responsibilities: Operate nuclear medicine equipment and ensure proper calibration and maintenance. Explain procedures to patients, monitor them during studies, and provide appropriate care and support. Adhere to radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and self from unnecessary exposure. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure timely documentation and reporting of test results. Collaborate with radiologists and other physicians to ensure optimal diagnostic quality. Monitor inventory of radioactive materials and ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal in compliance with regulatory guidelines Required Qualifications: 2 years of NMT experience BLS (AHA) - preferred A valid license as a nuclear medicine technologist issyed by NYSDOH Please submit your resume to mahin.shami@medcadre.com or Call (949) 889-3683.
