Operations and People Leader

Thrive Group are delighted partnering with a dynamic and growing business at the heart of the UK's food industry, looking to recruit an Operations and People Leader - Food Sector to join the team on a permanent basis in Wincanton. What you will be doing: Creating structure and focus across warehouse and production activities Working closely with team leads to deliver high standards in quality, safety, and performance Supporting continuous improvement projects and encouraging a proactive culture Championing training and development while ensuring compliance with food safety standards Taking ownership of stock, scheduling, and operational KPIs Acting as the go-to person for operational troubleshooting and team wellbeing What you will need to succeed: A solid background in leading operations within food, FMCG, or manufacturing environments Strong people management experience - you're calm, clear, and credible under pressure Deep understanding of food safety and quality practices (HACCP, BRC, GMP, etc.) Confidence with warehouse systems and production planning tools A mindset focused on collaboration, problem-solving, and progress What you will receive in return: Competitive salary package (£38K-£44K) Free on-site parking Casual dress and employee discounts Company pension & sick pay A business that values its people and invests in growth What you need to do next: If this position sounds of interest and you would like to be considered.
