Job Description

Safeguarding hotel operations and minimizing financial risks is crucial for the success of any hospitality business. As a seasoned Hotel Purchasing Manager, you will oversee all aspects of purchasing, receiving, and storeroom management to ensure seamless day-to-day operations. Main Responsibilities Coordinate with the Chef to source high-quality products at competitive prices while reviewing market lists and offers daily. Maintain professional relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure fair and ethical business practices. Monitor stock levels, slow-moving items, and dead stock to optimize inventory and reduce waste. Ensure timely and accurate documentation of deliveries and issues within the purchasing department. Foster effective communication among departments to address operational matters and prevent disruptions. Key Competencies Excellent proficiency in Italian and English languages. High-volume handling with attention to detail. Strong cost analysis and management skills. Familiarity with purchasing software systems like Navision or Business Center.
