Start Date: August 26, 2025 End Date: June 11, 2026 Location: Yakima, Washington Employment Type: Full-Time, School-Based Daily Schedule: 7:30 AM 3:00 PM or 8:30 AM 4:00 PM Caseload: Up to 60 students | Ages: Pre-K22 Disability Range: Mild to Severe Renewal/Summer Possibility: Based on district needs Position Summary: The Yakima School District is seeking a compassionate and credentialed Communication Disorders Specialist to provide evaluation and therapeutic services to students with communication challenges. In this role, youll serve a highly diverse caseload of students across all grade levels, helping them overcome language and speech barriers that impact learning and social integration. Responsibilities: Administer standardized and functional assessments for students with suspected communication disorders Develop and implement IEPs and individualized therapy programs Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services Track student progress and report on goal attainment Work collaboratively with educational staff and families to support student success Participate in school-based team meetings and contribute to inclusive practices Qualifications: Masters in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology Active Washington SLP License ASHA CCC-SLP Certification ESA Certification (required for Washington public schools) Experience working with a range of disabilities and age levels Strong team collaboration and documentation skills To Apply: Email Haddy Jagne at Haddy.Jagne@procaretherapy.com to apply or request more details.
