Job Description & Requirements Specialty: House Supervisor Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Overview Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Shift: Night, 3x12-hour shifts Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: Yes Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation Will See Patients: Yes Facility & Organizational Culture Operated by Select Medical Embraces The Select Medical Way : Deliver superior quality Treat others respectfully Be results-oriented and collaborative Overcome obstacles with resourcefulness Key organizational focus: Patient and employee safety Safety practices emphasized: Safe patient handling Infection control Fall prevention Awareness of workplace hazards ‍⚕️ Key Responsibilities Perform complete nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission Develop individualized care plans and update during re-evaluation team conferences Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate) Educate patients/families throughout the care and discharge process Initiate discharge planning on day of admission Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes per hospital policy Communicate patient status changes to physicians and other care providers Lead and supervise LPNs, CNAs, and orientees May assume charge nurse responsibilities post-orientation Ensure a safe care environment for patients and staff Participate in team building and support unit functionality Report supply or training needs to management Promote cost-effective care while ensuring quality outcomes Engage in ongoing professional development and self-study ✅ Required Qualifications BLS Certification – Required prior to first shift ACLS Certification – Required for CIRH units only Minimum 2 years bedside clinical experience Charge Nurse Experience – Required About Nationwide Therapy Group NTG is a proud partner with healthcare professionals across the country.
