Finance Business Partner

Ivy Rock is seeking a proactive and collaborative Finance Business Partner to support dynamic University in their catering, retail and accommodation teams. Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner – Estates & Projects and working closely with the Associate Director of Catering, Retail and Accommodation, you’ll play a key role in delivering financial insight and supporting strategic decision-making across a £40m portfolio. This is a business-facing role where you’ll build strong relationships with senior managers, lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, and provide high-quality financial analysis to shape operations and investments. You'll also take the lead on rent setting, costing models, and performance reporting. What you’ll do: Lead financial management for accommodation, catering, and retail services Prepare budgets, forecasts and monthly reporting for senior leadership Conduct variance analysis, pricing reviews, and cost-benefit evaluations Support long-term strategic planning and rent benchmarking Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure financial compliance What we’re looking for: Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) Strong experience in finance business partnering roles Excellent Excel and systems skills (Agresso, Oracle, SAP, etc.) Confident communicator with the ability to present complex data clearly to non-finance audiences Experience in higher education, property, or service sectors is a plus
