Job Description Job Description Interventional Cardiology Locums Physician, Louisiana - Weekdays Only Inpatient-focused cardiology assignment in New Orleans with no weekend requirement and full travel coverage. Highlights No weekend call - weekdays only STEMI and procedural focus - no clinic time Practice Setting Inpatient-only role with full-scope interventional procedures (no structural required) STEMI coverage, rounding, consults, emergency cases Dedicated NP and 2 other interventional MDs onsite General cardiology patients managed by a separate team Schedule Monday-Friday, 7a-5p Only 1-2 weeks per month - you choose the weeks Optional weekend call for added coverage Cases and Procedures Daily census ~20 patients (shared) STEMI volume: average 2/day, varies Epic charting Requirements Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology Louisiana license or active IMLC LOQ ACLS and DEA required 2 years recent interventional experience Travel Accommodations Travel, lodging, airfare, and rental car fully covered Reach out today if you're available for 1-2 weeks of coverage and want to lock in a block this fall - slots are limited.
