Pediatric School Speech Therapist - Saint Charles, Illinois

Job Description Job Description Minimum 1 years speech therapy experience required. This position is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) looking to make a significant impact from ASAP through June, with the possibility of summer work and a continued contract for the upcoming school year. Location: Saint Charles, IL Responsibilities: Assess and provide therapeutic services to students with a range of speech and language disorders. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs. Collaborate with educators and other specialists to support students overall development. Manage and maintain documentation of student progress and interventions. Engage with students using various methods to enhance their communication skills, including AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) technologies. Qualifications: Valid Illinois SLP or SLPA license. For SLPs, a Professional Educator's License (PEL) for IL schools through ISBE. CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred, but not mandatory for all applicants. Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings.
