Senior Financial Analyst

Job Description Job Description This role is a key member of the plant management team responsible for leading financial operations for the Steel Products division. Core duties include managing month-end close processes, full P&L and balance sheet responsibilities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations, and conducting detailed variance and trend analysis to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Manage monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and resolve financial variances Support cost monitoring, BOM management, and inventory movement across multiple plant sites Analyze cost and profitability trends across products and divisions Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and internal audit controls Serve as the primary financial contact for the division, providing insights to help achieve financial goals Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to process improvement and audit readiness Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA or CPA preferred) 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of US GAAP, cost accounting, and inventory methodologies Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP Company Description Prequel Solutions, established in 2003, is a distinguished staffing & recruiting firm.
